Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using CodeSwiftr ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. The Service

CodeSwiftr provides an AI-powered interview simulation platform where software engineers can practice coding, system design, and behavioral interviews. The Service includes:

• AI-generated interviewer questions and follow-ups.
• Real-time code evaluation and feedback.
• Performance analytics and improvement tracking.
• Free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• One person per account. Account sharing is not permitted.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All interview feedback, scores, and suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence. They are intended for practice and self-improvement only. CodeSwiftr does not guarantee:

• That AI feedback accurately reflects how a human interviewer would evaluate your response.
• That practicing with our tool will result in job offers or interview success.
• The factual accuracy of any AI-generated technical explanations.

CodeSwiftr is not a career counseling, recruiting, or professional advisory service.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all code, text, and other content you submit during interview sessions ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant CodeSwiftr a limited licence to process Your Content solely to provide the Service (generating feedback, storing session history).

We do not use Your Content to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details on how third-party AI providers handle your data.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

• Free tier — limited interview sessions per month. No payment required.
• Pro tier — unlimited sessions, advanced analytics, company-specific prep. Billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase if you have used fewer than 3 practice sessions.
• We may change pricing with 30 days written notice. Existing subscribers are grandfathered at their current rate until their next renewal.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content for cheating in actual job interviews (e.g., real-time answer generation during a live interview).
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract training data from the AI models.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls.
• Upload malicious code or content that violates applicable law.
• Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service without written permission.

8. Intellectual Property

CodeSwiftr owns all rights to the platform, UI, branding, interview question sets, and scoring algorithms. The AI-generated feedback provided to you is licensed for your personal use only.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeSwiftr's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost job opportunities.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Upon termination, your interview data is deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.
